Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Establishing and implementing management systems and practices that focus on continuously improving reliability of systems related to rotating equipments.
- Direct supervision, development and management of the Predictive maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective work execution and production availability.
- Providing technical assistance to engineers at the site: Rotating Equipment, ICS, Operation, Process and Electrical for condition monitoring based activities
- Improve and maintain efficiencies of the site's rotating equipment Activities
- Ensuring the sustainability of reliability processes, such as Bad Actors, Root Cause Failure Analysis, FMEA, MTBF, etc.
- Institute and help execute a reliability centered maintenance program.
- Supporting the development and implementation of reliability strategies consistent with requirements as defined by Asset Management.
- Responsible for analyzing and recommending changes to site-wide maintenance strategies or programs to drive continuous improvement based on recommendations from Reliability tools (Meridium)
- Act as the Maintenance interface with Project Engineering to provide input on new capital projects.
- Developing and maintaining external specialty services contractors (e.g., Lube oil analysis, boroscopic inspection, Bently Nevada, SKF, Emerson, etc.).
- Prepare the annual budget for the reliability section & monitor expenditure over the year
- Prepare and present monthly equipment performance reports in terms of availability, reliability, spares parts utilized, recommended maintenance activities during next outage.
- Optimum utilization of MAXIMO, SAP and Reliability software.
- Use historical operations, reliability and maintenance data in analytical tools and studies to sustain and improve asset performance.
- Train and mentor engineers and other plant employees on the fundamentals of Predictive maintenance and Plant reliability

Requirements

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Higher
- Level-II Vibration Analysis certification is must
- Minimum 15 years experience of leading in condition monitoring
- Minimum of 15 years plant engineering experience in refining, petrochemical, or chemical industry required.
- At least 5 years as a Team-lead.
- Strong communications, interpersonal skills, initiative, follow up, analysis and problem assessment skills required.
- Experience in On-line vibration monitoring system such as Bently Nevada (System-1), 3500 rack, ADRE)
- Experience in off-line vibration monitoring system such as SKF aptitude and Emerson-CSI2130
- Trouble shooting of rotating machines & their auxiliary equipments
- Knowledge of various PdM techniques such as Lube oil analysis, Data analysis techniques (Wiebull and Statistical analysis)
- Experience of Meridium RCM will be an added advantage.
- Must know English
- Knowing Arabic shall be an advantage

Technical software knowledge:
- Working knowledge in following is must
- All MS Office applications
- Bently Nevada (System-1, 3500 rack configuration)
- SAP
- AMS suite (CSI-2130)
- SKF aptitude
- OSI-PI
- Meridium (shall be an advantage)
