Employment: Full Time

The General Manager - Operations will be responsible for all day to day business activities, its employed associates and branches. In addition, will propose budgets and strategies in collaboration with the Country General Manager.

Reporting to the CGM and serving as a member of the AMOs Senior Management Team along with the AMOs CEO, Chairman and CGM, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's product, purchasing, logistics and warehouse functions.

Working with the management team, the position also defines, develops and implements Group strategies, policies and best practices. This position will also interact with the ALJs Directors and Shareholders.

Responsibilities:
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Oversee overall supply chain management, planning, systems and controls.
- Development of individual program budgets
- Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service.
- Organization of fiscal documents.
- Regular meetings with Executive Director around fiscal planning.
- Supervise and coach office managers on a weekly basis.
- Direct annual budgeting and planning process.
- Develop and manage annual budget
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
- Guide, Support and Manage, Purchasing, Product, Warehouse and HR functions.
- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
- Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
- Implement effective SOPs for all company activities
- Serve as primary leader to identify, mitigate and manage company Risk Register.

Requirements

- MBA or equivalent Degree
- Mother Tongue Arabic, Fluent in English both written and verbal
- At least 5 years of Aftermarket experience in KSA or Middle East
- Strong background in P&L responsibility
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of import and export business models
- Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Budget development and oversight experience
- High comfort level working in a diverse environment
