QC Civil Lead - Qatar - Infrastructure - Red Line - Tax Free Salary
Job type: Permanent
Company: Joint venture between 4 contractors
This excellent opportunity is for a QC professional to join a joint venture between 4 successful companies operating on the prestigious Red Line rail project in Qatar. My client is looking for an experienced QC Civil Lead to prepare the infrastructure for 6km viaduct on the Red Line in Qatar. The successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities on site and will be carrying out the following duties:
DUTIES:
- Inspection test plans
- Manage a QC team of 5/6 engineers
- Manage the quality control on site
- Responsible for managing and implementing the quality standards
- Reporting directly to the Project Manager/Director
Requirements
- The successful client will be expected to have 10+ years experience within a QC based role.
- Previous experience of working within the GCC is essential for a minimum of at least 3 years.
The other requirements for this role are:
- To be familiar with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS)
- Concrete experience, pre-cast/post tensioning
- Experience working QC on big infrastructure and rail projects
- BSc of Civil Engineering, or equivalent
