#1426 Section Head, Financial Analysis & Reporting

Compile, review, and analyze Financial statements and related notes to ensure compliance with SOCPA, IFRS and accounting policies. Also ensure they represent the fair and the true value of company's assets and liabilities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement and update the body of financial policies, processes and procedures and ensure they are consistent with SOCPA and IFRS and approved polices and corporate guidelines.
- Custodianship and maintenance of finance master date in coordination with corporate financial control.
- Coordinate with G/L to compile, review and analyze monthly/quarterly/final financial statements of the company in accordance to SOCPA and IFRS and company financial policies.
- Controls over company's book of assets and liabilities to ensure all transactions appropriately recorded in accordance to established financial policies and procedures.
- Audit Focal and facilitator for successful internal, GAB and external audits by providing unlimited access to requested information, documentation and explanation.
- Prepare the ZAKAT and Withholding Tax returns, submit to the DZIT and secure primarily and final ZARAT Clearance Certificate.
- Review and analysis of monthly/quarterly financial and statistical data to ensure accuracy, preparation of quarterly consolidated reporting. Advise Management and Company officials on all accounting and financial matters by special financial modelling, analysis and report development as and when designated.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and practices taking into account international best practice, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Develop and coach employees in order to retain and expand talent through focused attention and effort.

Requirements

Accounting Graduate Degree required with professional Accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACMA or CPA, plus knowledge of Financial Control and accounting in a process flow Industry e.g. Chemicals, Petrochemicals, etc.

At least 10 -15 years of Financial and Management Accounting and Financial Management experience, preferably in the petrochemical / Fertilizer industry, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role in Financial Control in a progressive organization.

Saudi statutory reporting experience is highly desirable as is some years with a Big 4 firm.
