Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Increase the banks share of trade transactions; Working closely with Relationship Managers and customers to ensure top of mind awareness for trade / unfunded facilities requirements; Contribute directly to the Off Balance Sheet Fee Income for the Bank.
- Review and work closely with the Relationship Managers to understand their customers for opportunities to increase trade / unfunded facilities.
- Pitching to new customers and existing for trade / unfunded facilities capabilities including e-channel opportunities
- Produce, analyze and understand available statistics to understand the banks market positioning for trade / unfunded transactions with an aim to seek increased opportunities.
- Ensure consistent approach to compliance with SOPs and Branch Circulars including DOA; statutory and internal operational procedures.
- Ensure risk assessment and control are monitored daily and consistently achieved.

Requirements

- University degree, or relevant professional qualification in Finance.

The candidate shall have following experience as a must:
- Min 5 - 7 years in Corporate Banking or Trade Finance Sales / Structured Trade Solutions.
- For Expatriates: Experience of 7 years in Corporate Banking or Trade Finance Sales, preferably with an international bank, and/or in GCC region.
- Min 3 -5 years in same field / Corporate Banking / Trade Finance Sales preferably with an international bank, and/or in GCC region.

- English Language, Arabic Language (desirable)
- In-depth banking knowledge especially in trade, unfunded transactions, working capital cycle of Corporates / FI.
- Computer literacy: Intermediate level in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Product knowledge within Trade and Transactional banking.
- Customer service orientation and analytical skills.
- Concern for quality.
- Teamwork and coordination.
- Complaints handling skills.
- Understanding of Financial Statement and able to analyze the working capital cycle of the companies / FIs.
