Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the leading engineering consultancy service providers in Saudi Arabia, with a wide portfolio of projects including commercial, residential and healthcare construction and design. Established in 1985 it is one of the biggest employers of mechanical engineers in the Middle East .The company is looking for a senior mechanical engineer to be based in Jeddah for an airport project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine overall engineering objectives for assigned projects and oversee the development of project plans.
- Identify and recommend product direction and technological requirements to support project and strategic plans.
- Conduct technical design reviews.
- Work with various groups to ensure performance, cost and time targets can be met.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets and track progress.
- Provide technical support to engineering and design staff.
- Provide direction/management for project groups, engineers, technicians and others.
- Inform senior management of project development issues and challenges.
- Conduct energy and operational analysis of new and existing building systems.

Requirements

- Must have previous experience in airport project.
- Bachelor's Degree required in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidate must be Arab.
- Jordanian nationals preferred.
- At least ten years of professional experience.
- Candidates with background with consultant preferred.
