Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible to manage the QHSE , IMS & IRMR function of the subsidiary.
- Communicates regulatory and corporate IMS & HSEQ expectations, educates and trains personnel on requirements.
- Provides hands-on & consulting support to subsidiary personnel & sub contractors in implementation of HSEQ, IMS, and ISO policies & procedures.
- Consolidate and report HSEQ and IMS indicators in the Monthly HSE/IMS report to ALMENA and SIS regularly.
- Visits all assigned facilities & customer installations regularly and assess the status of compliance on HSEQ requirements.
- Ensures that HSEQ policies are followed during non-routine activities such as construction by providing technical support to the Industrial team.
- Provides knowledgeable resource for plant personnel on HSE issues.
- Refers more complex issues to ALMENA HSE for guidance.
- Provides Industrial Hygiene monitoring for air quality, noise level monitoring, etc on routine visits or where Ready to start report.
- Helps develop a culture that encourages near-miss incident reporting and helps ensure appropriate response to reports, by consistent communication and Behavioral safety visits.
- Managing full understanding and implementation of the IMS.
- Conduct IMS internal audits and assessments with ALMENA HSE and follow-up all action plans with stakeholders in a time bound frame.
- Implement and lead the HSEQ & IMS program in the facility that is compliant with subsidiary standards.
- Managing follow-up of IMS documentation submission and report status of all procedures implemented through IMS workflow process including its integration in subsidiary IMS plan.
- Signs MOC change request forms in accordance with IMS procedures.
- Develops and implements a formal risk-assessment procedure for existing facilities that includes risk identification, risk severity and probability, risk mitigation and experience feedback.
- Carries out the PRI and classifies all new projects and conduct PRA for critical projects.
- Develops and implements a formal process for facilities risk assessment.
- Reviews and approve the risk mitigation actions proposed y risk review teams
- Analyses, adapts and implements the industrial risk management requirements of the Group standards within the subsidiary.
- Ensures that periodic risk assessments of new and existing facilities are performed.
- Attends Pre-Startup Safety reviews, RFSR and Process Hazards Analysis as requested.

The IRMR advises the Managing Director on industrial risk management issues and provides technical support to line management in the identification and analysis of industrial risks.

Depending on the size and complexity of the subsidiarys activities, more than one IRMR may be required or specialists may be recruited to assist the IRMR in risk identification and analysis activities. These industrial risk management specialists shall report to the IRMR.

Requirements

- Safety Qualification from a recognized university or institute.
- NEBOSH or similar qualification will be desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in area of specialty or on Industrial and Engineering site.
