Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Finance Manager will be responsible for Financial Management and Management Accounting covering 4 companies in 3 different countries with approx. $55m revenues and 120 employees in 2015. The Finance Manager will take over related responsibilities from Director Operations as part of the growth and development plans of the company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for Accounts Management with Group consolidation, Cash Flow Planning and reporting/advice to the Management/Board. He/she will play an active role in introducing and implementing a new group-wide ERP/accounting tool (e.g. Navision) to replace the current solution.

Financial Management
- Introduce a suitable Accounting/ERP tool that will ensure timely provision of financial information
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, and commission schemes in coordination with all relevant departments; provide performance reviews and other suitable reports to enhance performance.
- Develop schedules of authority for enabling effective day to day management.
- Ensure preparation of financial statements/analysis/reports to meet requirements of the board, management, financial institutions and governmental authority.
- Negotiate/oversee treasury related aspects like credit facilities, off-balance sheet borrowings (L/cs, etc...) to optimize deployment of funds within the organization.
- Ensure compliance of all with set procedures/limits related to use of funds.
- Strengthen costing related systems/procedures,
- Ensure adequate internal safeguards/processes to secure information generation, flow and storage
- Revise and ensure accounting principles for inter-group consolidation
- Perform and report ongoing Financial business risk analysis
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance

Management Accounting
- Collate, compile, analyse and provide timely information for effective decision making at the appropriate levels including financial documents (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow statement, debtor analysis, stock ageing, margin analysis) on a company and group consolidated level.
- Coordinate, collate and draw up annual budgets. Analyse these and others such as cash flow, areas of cost controls and expenses. Suitably advise management and others within the organization on the basis of such analysis.
- Be involved in the development of long term objectives, strategies and plans for enhancing growth

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in a similar regional role in a medium sized organisations in GCC (covering UAE, Qatar, KSA) in IT or IT-related industry
- Experience in introducing new accounting/ERP system in a medium size company
- CPA and/or CMA qualification
- Analysis and reporting to Management/Board
- MBA or equivalent degree is advantageous
- Relevant experience in developing Management Accounting system from high-level to the detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management and interacting with employees and management
- Understanding of IT industry business principles
- Strong focus on performance and practical contribution to the company objectives
- Ability to understand complex business processes
- Leadership Capabilities
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Great organisational skills
- Ability to adopt to a multi-cultural young, dynamic and efficient work environment
