Employment: Full Time

This role contributes to and supports the overall Boeing Saudi Arabia (BSA) Finance and Accounting operations and handles complex accounting issues with multi-functional groups.

The position primarily supports BSA Finance local accounting and statutory reporting needs and broad company accounting and finance objectives including the accounting support for Boeing Middle East Limited (BMEL) Riyadh branch. The accountant also supports timely accounting closing and consolidation process, including necessary statutory to US GAAP adjustments and local filings. This role will primarily focus on supporting payment, inter-company and fixed assets accounting.

This position will report to BSA Finance Manager. This role will support Boeing Accounting organizations and Corporate Functions to ensure quality, compliant Boeing Financials and BSA/BMEL Saudi statutory disclosures.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Effectively interprets and implements specific financial guidelines (Boeing Company Procedures, Policies, US GAAP, Saudi GAAP, statutory, etc.).
- Processes journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, evaluates and applies effective internal controls and supports emerging requirements.
- Works independently and in a team environment.
- Ensures the accuracy of accounting entries and account reconciliations by recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of information via usage BIBS (Boeing International Business Systems).
- Uses experience and knowledge of Saudi accounting requirements and practices for BSA and BMEL statutory reporting and audit needs.
- Coordinates information needs and requirements for timely preparation of local statutory filings, GOSI disclosures and DZIT tax returns.
- Supports broader accounting initiatives by providing local guidance on accounting /related regulatory requirements, including accounting processes and systems.
- Supports local expense accounting and segregation of cost (allowable, unallowable, etc.).
- Handles necessary accounting transactions performed by BSA Operations Support Department for payments, local procurement, banking, etc.
- Performs special projects as assigned by BSA Team Leaders and BSA CFO.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from accredited university
- 3-6 or more years' related work experience.

Competencies:
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handling both routine and complex accounting duties.
- Ability to handle and prepare underlying accounting data in support of Saudi statutory audits, GOSI disclosures and DZIT tax returns.
- Ability to handle broader accounting initiatives by providing Saudi GAAP guidance on accounting /related regulatory requirements, including accounting processes and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication.
- Flexible and energetic person and ability to work different tasks at the same time.
- Good ERP and accounting systems skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency with MS Office including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and ability to work within a time-constrained environment.
- Strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communications skills in Arabic (native speaker - fluency) and English.
- Understanding of audit process and ability to work through issues with statutory auditors and tax advisors.
