Job description / Role
- Ensure business profitability.
- Ensure mastery in Product knowledge
- Ensure shop floor housekeeping and visual standards are being met, including re-organizing merchandise as required.
- Employee development by setting sales goals, effectively managing, giving training, motivating, appraising etc.
- Planning and organizing special events, promotions, seasonal sales, special offers etc.
- Supervising stock levels and ensuring that stock levels are constantly maintained.
- Devising market strategy and publicity in the local media, social sites and groups.
- Advising the management on pricing strategy and ensure the products are correctly priced and that pricing procedures are followed. Market analysis for new store opening etc.
Requirements
- In-depth retail exposure in FMCG/ Food retail chains.
- Experience of minimum 5 years in management of chain of retail shops.
- Minimum exposure of at least one year in UAE.
- Exposure in Organic food products preferred, Customer care, business development, business analysis, market research, internal and external communication etc.
