Job description / Role
Leading Oil and Gas business seek a Corporate Finance professional.
Key area
- Long term financial forecasting for the Group through assistance with updating and maintaining the Group financial model
Other areas
- Assistance with corporate finance transactions where required (disposals, acquisitions, debt/equity issues)
- Assistance with treasury management activities (daily cash flow forecasting, hedging, day to day relationships with syndicate banks)
- Willingness to get involved in ad hoc information requests from the Board/Senior Management (modelling of investment opportunities, preparation of various financial materials for the CEO/CFO), BDO, RSM, Smith & Williamson, Baker Tilly, PKF or Mazars
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA with preference in that order)
- Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a financial modelling team
- Financial modelling skills (additional modelling qualification favoured), specifically:
- Experience of 3 way financial modelling (i.e. P/L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statement)
- Experience of building operational financial models (i.e. modelling new business opportunities)
- Extensive excel skills (i.e. ability to manipulate and interpret large pools of data)
- Experience of updating long term financial models for actual financial data
