Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:

To direct and control the Banks Communications Internally and Externally to effectively achieve the strategic objectives set by management through the most effective communications tools interaction with others to influence develop and motivate people and change behaviour towards banks corporate image.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Corporate image:
Responsible of communication the vision and strategy of the bank to the internal customers and to the outside world.
Responsible of internal communications, events, external communication and media relations.
Responsible of public affairs, crisis and reputation management, brand management, and content management for internal and external communications.
Plan Communication strategy and Massages.
Develop and implement a clear communications strategy which is consistent across all aspects of external and internal communications and which is integrated within the corporate communications strategy.
Be the principle contact for media relations including briefing the Executive Committee and senior management for media activity.

Provide advisory :
Provide strategic counsel to CEO and senior management teams, business heads regarding Media relations and internal communications to build and protect corporate brand name and image.
Constantly adapt to development of new ideas- innovative, and creative thinking
Other Administrative Matters:
Developing, presenting and managing the budget for Corporate Communications Department to secure the highest value in return to the Bank.
Developing & updating Internal & External Communications policies & procedures and plan in line with the Banks strategic and business plan.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in (and/or) familiarity with the finance/ banking sector.
A minimum of B.A. in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or other relevant field.
Fluency in Arabic and English, reading and writing.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications/marketing.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.

Ability to work independently and follow up persistently with both internal colleagues and external counterparts
