Job description / Role
Objectives:
- Maintain a recorded account of the physical condition of the materials.
- Ensure that efficient levels of stocks are kept in stores.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain all records related to the store.
- Check incoming materials with delivery notes, and obtain any technical documents related to the materials from the suppliers representative.
- Perform regular checks on computerised stock levels and physical stock levels of materials and equipment held in the stores, and raise requisitions for replacements.
- Prepare and maintain computerised stock levels and update it daily.
- Issue materials from the stores and maintain records of issues.
- Prepare all necessary paperwork including material transfer vouchers, stores issue vouchers, stores receipt vouchers, materials requisitions, and the daily list of items received.
- Perform inspections according to the stated policies and procedure or work instructions.
- Coordinate sending materials to project work sites, prepare vouchers for material transfers, and maintain records of deliveries.
Other interactions:
- Personnel in his Division.
- Logistics Division personnel.
- Clients.
- Vendors & Suppliers.
Requirements
- Candidate should have 3-4 years of relevant warehouse experience.
- Should be a university graduate in any discipline.
- Should have excellent MS Office skills and good communication as well as interpersonal skills.
