Station Structures Design Manager
Our client is a leading Western Engineering and Design Consultancy that specialise in major infrastructure projects and they are looking for a Design Manager to manage the design teams for the Doha Metro.
Our client is carrying out the multi-disciplinary design of 6 underground stations and 24km of bored tunnel, along with associated infrastructure.
The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers currently carrying the detailed design of 6 cut and cover stations for our Doha Metro Red Line North Project. You will be employed through our Doha office, but with the majority of you time spent at our station design office in Gurgaon, India.
This is an immediate start with design expected to be completed within 6 months. Upon completion of design there will be opportunities to move onto other projects within the COWI group, either in India, the Middle East or elsewhere.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a Western educated Structural Engineer with 10 years+ experience in the design of reinforced concrete structures. You will be responsible for the management of station design team and design process in India, ensuring quality, controlling design budget and the co-ordination of the architectural and MEP teams based in Europe and the Middle East.
