Employment: Full Time

In line with the mission, vision and values of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to deadlines and within budget.This includes managing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Responsibilities
- Deliver HMC strategy
- Utilise PM skills to deliver projects with an outcome focus
- Work to schedule
- Understand and monitor project risks
- Understand and monitor project budget
- Resolve or make recommendations to resolve project issues
- Harness technology to support the project and project team
- Communicate effectively at all levels the projects objectives and oversees quality control throughout the project life cycle.
- Under direction, support new program and service development initiatives in cooperation with managers and key stakeholders internal and external to the corporation
- Take responsibility for managing consultative processes and developing work plans to progress projects
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and related project documentation
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and recommend appropriate recruitment (as required) during the project cycle
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team,analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and stakeholders,and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Requirements

- Bachelors degree or equivalent, with training or courses in Project Management
- Preferred:Post Graduate qualifications in health planning or public health would be an advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management
- Preferred:A track record of successfully planning and executing complex projects within a large healthcare organization.
- Language Skills:High level of competency in English mandatory/ Arabic preferred
- Computer Skills:High level skills in MS Office and MS Project
