HR Manager

Job description / Role

Our client, one of the world leaders in building materials including, cement, concrete and construction aggregates are looking for a HR Manager to join their team in Oman.

The role requires a level of working experience and understanding and a number of responsibilities including:
- Defining and implementing the strategy within the Business Unit
- Articulate short term business needs with long term HR strategy
- Anticipate and drive organisational change in order to support performance plans
- Define and propose HR policies including recruitment, training and development, career management and rewards
- Supervise Personnel Administration and payroll for the site
- Identify areas of improvement in HR & administrative
- Recruitment of mid/senior roles
- Organise induction and training sessions
- Ensure individual performance evaluation by managers
- Promote Health & Safety policies within the business
- Recommend and provide support to the compensation & benefits team
- Qualify, design and implement learning and development programs

Requirements

- Qualifications in Human Resources (CIPD qualified preferable)
- Minimum of 6 years of Senior HR experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, Arabic speaking essential
- Advanced understanding of job evaluations, salary reviews and coaching in a professional environment
- Working experience in HR technology
- Understanding and knowledge of learning & development
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
