Structural Engineer - (Consultancy)

Job description / Role

Our client, an architectural and engineering consulting firm in the middle east is seeking several Structural Engineers to work on high-rise tower projects in Dubai. Must have between 10-15 years experience all in design of different types of buildings. Consultancy experience is a must ideally tier 1.

As a structural engineer you will be reporting to the Dubai Manager in supervising the daily activities, monitoring and reporting on quality together with documenting your findings to ensure that the work is being built in accordance with the drawings and specification. The right candidate will be outgoing, team oriented and an experienced Structural engineer to help build and grow the building capability.

As an active member of the project team you will be responsible for:
- Performing technical engineering designs and calculations across a variety of buildings projects
- Project Management and liaising with clients and relevant stakeholders
- Producing technical reports
- Lead and manage small to medium project teams

Requirements

- BSc or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 10 to 15 years experience as a Structural Engineer with a strong background in delivering a variety of mid/high rise building projects & commercial structures.
- Strong background in Structural Engineering design utilising a variety of software packages.
- Previous project management experience and the ability to liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing engineers and collaborating between project teams.
