Construction Project Manager - Roads and Bridges - Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia - 30,000 - 40,000 SAR Monthly

Our client, One of the finest companies in the field of construction in Saudi Arabia have asked us to assist in the hire of a construction Project Manager, based in their office in Al-Khobar.The company specialises in the maintenance of roads, bridges and road construction, water and sewage work as well as electrical work.

The Project Manager is overall responsible for the progress and success of the projects that are assigned. It would include managing and monitoring one or more of the companys projects and ensuring commitment to quality, time and budget towards the customer.

- Overall responsibility for the planning and execution of projects assigned
- Supervise and review project performance and maintain scope of work.
- Visit the project sites and monitor the project progress and ensure that it is executed in accordance to the agreed specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor the project time schedule and take needed action to solve delaying problems.
- Ensure that project milestones are met; report technical difficulties to the management along with action plans on a periodic basis
- Coordinate with all the relevant stakeholders to discuss project progress and any change orders.
- Prepare progress/status report for the project and submit it to the Management on a periodic basis.
- Maintain and update all project documents and files on a regular basis.
- Provide all relevant inputs in the Budgeting and Reporting process
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the relevant project related information is communicated
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Any other duties and responsibilities, as required by the Board of Directors and Chairman.

- Good knowledge of project management concepts, practices and principles.

- Ability to organize and integrate data, ideas and/or concepts to solve problems.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to delegate, set expectations and monitor delegated activities.
- Strong scheduling and resource planning skills.

Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge in business principles and techniques of administration, organization and project management. These include, but not limited to, the following:
- Relevant technical skills for activities that the Group is involved in
- Team Work
- Process Excellence
- Personnel administration
- Customer Orientation
- Financials and cost analysis
- High command of English language and preferably good command of Arabic language.
- Computer literacy.
