Job description / Role
Guildhall is working on an assignment to assist a Global Contractor in identifying a Quantity Surveyor (Post Contracts) for a Mega Infrastructure Project in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating price received from various suppliers and sub-contractors and preparing clarifications and costing summary.
- Preparing Letter of Intent, Letter of Award & Sub-contract Agreement.
- Checking plans against any changes between the tender drawings and the construction drawings and preparing necessary papers including computation of all additions and omissions.
- Preparing and sending requests for information to the Consultant for clarifications.
- Identifies the changes on work and coordinates with the Project Manager and requests for site instructions from the consultant/client and prepares variation claim details.
- Preparing subcontractors claims and monthly valuation of on-going projects.
- Preparing variation orders and site instructions cost impact.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Quantity Surveying.
- 10 + years of Experience in Post Contracts.
- Must have worked on Infrastructure Projects.
- Middle East Experience is a Must.
- Experience in preparing Variation Orders.
- Good Communication Skills.
