Employment: Full Time

Salary: up to AED 50,000 negotiable plus family status benefits

Our Client have established and maintained a distinguished name in product, service and business for over 50 years.

They have successfully evolved into manufacturing, electro-mechanical engineering, real estate, utilities, financial investment and Retail through strategic stakes and local & international investments.

The Retail division is undergoing further expansion representing high end furniture brands from Europe.

Currently serving their clients in the main cities of Saudi Arabia with 23 branches, they ultimately wish to extend their coverage to almost every residential hub across the country

Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a highly experienced and professional Retailer to manage the full P&L of the current business and be an integral part of their expansion

The Head of Retail is a critical part of the operation of the business and therefore tight control over operating costs, developing the business further and continuing to improve and enhance procedures to reduce operating costs are the key factors of this role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare the annual budget, including the sales forecasts, expenses, manpower requirements, capex, projected cash flows and funding requirements for all current showrooms, as well as those planned to open during the financial year.
- Ensure media advertising budgets and oversee the marketing stategy
- Review the monthly MIS reports for every showroom and provide the General Manger with a monthly report and analysis of the performance of each showroom, on Actual vs Budget
- Ensure, in conjunction with the Finance Manager, that all financial controls are being correctly followed by the showroom staff.
- Monitor all showroom operating policies and procedures
- Regular showroom visits to ensure standards are being maintained
- Review stock levels with the Country Sales Managers to ensure that all proposed orders are within the approved purchasing budget.
- Ensure that the training programs to all new employees are implemented
- Conduct monthly Management meetings with relevant heads of departments
- Assist in introducing, establishing and developing new furniture businesses and suppliers

Requirements

- Graduate MBA with specialization in Retail is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience at senior level managing full P&L responsibility
- Experience in managing multi showroom locations within the furniture industry
- Experience in the GCC is essential
- Excellent Communications skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong business acumen
