Job description / Role
My client, a big 4 consulting company based in Dubai, is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Architect with specific oil & gas sector experience.
The EA practice aligns the business needs and priorities of the CIO, CTO and enterprise architecture organizations, enabling them to respond rapidly to dynamic business needs while maintaining appropriate security safeguards. Its core service offerings span across three broad areas: IT and E-Business Strategy and Architecture, Data / Information Management Strategy and Architecture, Security Strategy and Architecture.
As an experienced member of the team, this Senior EA is expected to be a trusted advisor to our clients and be able to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems. This includes mentoring the client, other members of the practice and engagement teams on best practices and consulting services.

Requirements
- Relevant practitioner experience: Consulting: 10+ years
- Oil & gas sector experience is an absolute MUST.
- Fluency in Arabic & English is highly desirable.
- Broad range if IT experience Business Architecture and/or Application Architecture
- Some experience of Information Architecture or Infrastructure Architecture is a nice to have
- Specialism (3 or more); Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, Enterprise Portfolio Management, EA Maturity assessments, Value of EA, Business Capability Modeling, Strategic Capability Analysis, EA Governance, Transition Planning, Business driver analysis
- Experience in design, implementation and EA Governance within a large corporate environment.
- Enterprise Architecture experience at a top tier consulting firm is preferable.
- Prior responsibility for leading Enterprise Architecture Initiatives within a large corporate environment is desirable.
- Experience in working with large distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment, preferably involving an onshore/offshore model is highly desirable.
- A good technologist with an understanding of technologies covering solution architecture, application architecture and infrastructure is an advantage.
- Extensive experience with EA frameworks such as TOGAF
