Job description / Role
Drainage Design Engineer - Hyderabad, India
- Responsible for completing assigned project tasks to the specified timeline, budget and quality. Assist the Senior Engineer /PM on all technical project deliveries Co-ordination with staff from other departments.
- Should be a qualified B.Tech civil engineer with specialization in M.Tech (Environmental Engineering, or Irrigation Engineering or Public health Engineering) from reputed university.
- Minimum of 3-5 years work experience with at least 3 years in successful delivery of projects from concept /prelim/ detailed/ tender/ construction designs for various infrastructure/highway projects/storm water network design projects/ storm water network modelling projects.
- Must have hands on experience in StormCAD/ SewerCAD/ Windes Micro Drainage software.
- Should be familiar with the highway drainage projects starting from concept to tender and construction stage.
- Must possess thorough knowledge of various drainage design standards CPHEEO/CERIA/Middle East/IRC.
- Should possess good communication skills, mentoring skills, leadership skills.
- Should have carried out the document / drawing quality control checking process.
- Experience in working in global deliveries and with contractors (EPC and DDB and various government agencies.
- Should be able to work with remote teams and carry out the tasks and co-ordinate the project deliveries.
- GIS knowledge (ArcInfo/MapInfo) would be an added advantage.
- Modelling experience using Infoworks/Windes Micro-drainage would be an added advantage.
