Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Key responsibilities included creating VM Strategy, VM Calendar, Budgets, Processes, Innovation, Alignment to Business Plan, Mentoring and Leadership.
- Develop overall a creative strategy and vision for in-store and promotions & visual merchandising standards.
- Responsible for Design, Production and implementation of VM for multiple stores in India.
- Set expectations and standards for all concepts and brand standard events, promotions
- Create and maintain compelling in-store marketing and visual merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate customer conversions and sales.
- Concept adaptation, development & provide solution to execution of visual merchandising solution that works across all stores locations and accommodates for unique sizes and layouts of stores.
- Present concepts through the support of installing 2D and /or 3D props, materials.
- Create store setup plans and seasonal changeover within the timeframes & market trends.
- Closely work with the regional projects, concept merchandising, store operations & the marketing teams to ensure consistency across the concepts, brand, and product.
- Actively monitor store performance and feedback and incorporate into rapid changes in visual merchandising and store layout to enable sales.
- Overseeing the creation and production of in-store signage, marketing collateral, and fixture development.
- Ensure all store locations have storeset materials and guidance in a timely manner to execute store set changes.
- Work with Retail Training & HR to develop overall team through regular coaching and performance, feedback as well as providing opportunities to learn and/or strengthen the skills that will enable each representative to focus on career development
- Create the basis of manuals or guides for displays, visuals & events (regional & national)
- Wide experience in the field of training, assessment, scheduling, and personnel management.
- Guide & train the SVM's (Store Visual Merchandisers) to mange weekly displays & submit regular reports.

Requirements

- A Minimum of 12 years of work experience in retail industry
- Should ideally come with a mix of experience in Indian + overseas market
- Ability to lead with strong people management skills
- Prior experience of managing multiple stores
