IMS Manager

Job description / Role

NorConsulting is urgently looking for an IMS Manager Responsible for analysing the Core Capacity limitations in IMS Core Network, Hardware/Software limits, give inputs for Statistical modelling for Trend analysis /Prediction model, to join one of the top 5 Telecommunications companies in India.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify capacity limitations of Control Plane & User plane traffic of IMS Core Networks.
- Traffic trends analysis across various interfaces viz-a-viz capacity (SIP, ISC, Cx, Rx, Sh, Ro,Mb, Mi, Mr, Mw, Mk,Mx etc)
- Traffic profiling of different IMS Services with respect to geography.
- Traffic forecasting based on Traffic growth vs Users.
- Analyse Vendor Hardware, Software limitations with respect to various core nodes like IMS Core, SBC, MGCF, MGW, MRF, TAS etc.
- Forecast SIP, Diameter signalling load in IMS Core domain.
- Short term & Long term Solution design based on Business Projections / Promotions / Product Launch to over come Capacity limitations.
- Periodic analysis on Voice, Video, Messaging, TAS Trends & Impact on IMS Core Network.

Requirements

- Educational Qualifications B.Tech / BE - ECE / Computer Science Engineering
- Years of Experience (minimum & maximum)8 to 10 Years

Skills and Knowledge
- Handled performance & optimization of IMS CORE
- Experience in IMS Core Node Planning
- In depth knowledge on different protocols such as Diameter, SIP, TCP/IP,IPv6 etc.
- Full understanding of various interfaces functioning of different CORE nodes like P/I/S/E -CSCF,TAS, MGCF, MRF etc
- Excellent Knowledge in IMS Architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of various KPI Counters in IMS Core & CS Core.
- Full understanding of CS GERAN/UTRAN Interworking with IMS.-Good understanding of EPC Core Architecture.
