Construction Site Quality Lead

Kentz currently have a requirement for a Construction Site Quality Lead, based in Basra, 4 and 4 rotation.

Responsibilities
- Provides oversight of Contractor’s execution of construction processes and procedures through implementing the Construction Surveillance Program:
- Evaluates and monitors implementation of Contractor’s site quality management systems, Site Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality audit schedule.
- Develop and coordinate Site Audit Schedule, conducts PT site audits and participates in Contractors audits.
- Participate in sub-contractor pre-qualifications.
- Ensure Contractor’s surveillance activities are commensurate with Criticality Ratings
- Manages the Site Deviation control processes, documentation and KPI reporting of NCR, CAR and site log book records.
- Assist in selection and supervises daily activities and reporting of site Discipline Inspectors and Quality Specialists.
- Advises and informs Site Manager and Project Quality Lead on issues, status and metrics.
- Engages with and supports the Site construction team in readiness reviews prior to mobilizations and start of work scopes.
- Promotes Quality awareness through quality training for site inspection personnel and all site PT members.
- Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and that new lessons learned are identified

Requirements

- Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in in Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up activities of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- A Minimum 5 years of experience associated with Quality Management and coordination of quality activities.
- Extensive knowledge, skill and experience in construction activities.
- Qualification / Certification in auditing and in inspection disciplines.
- Worldwide experience with Contractors and Suppliers involved in production facilities projects.
