Job description / Role
Wood is currently recruiting for a Electrical Technicians (Iraqi local nationals only) this position, and work pattern is 8 days ON 6 Days OFF, we can only consider applications from local Iraqi nationals residing in Basra and surrounding areas
Electrical Technician role is to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures to support overall delivery of company goals and schedule. In addition, to ensure all work scope is completed in a safe manner with no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment. Proven competency in HV and LV systems and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with the site safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work.
- Complete field level risk assessments.
- Safely perform testing functions on the following
- Completion of approved Main. check sheets.
- Assist vendor representatives and site operations in commissioning and startup (energization) activities for medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Follow and maintain standards of Quality in accordance with Quality System requirements.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical Diploma/ 10 years of Experience,
- Literate in the use of standard computer software programs. Word, Excel, etc
- English Communication skills / Team player/ Time-Management / Adaptability / Willingness to learn.
- Understanding of Oil & Gas Process Operations, HSE practices and application in the field.
