Uniforms and PPE
- It is at all times required to appear in a suitable manner/ corporal hygiene must be irreproachable.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at designated places as dictated by signage or instruction.
- Appropriate uniform must be worn according to the job requirement.
Specific Job Tasks
- Undertake Weekly/Monthly Safety Inspections as per the agreed schedule set by the Site Q&S Manager.
- Conduct Daily Site Inspections to identify Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions, intervening when identified and reporting them to the QHSE Manager.
- Support the development of promoting “western” best?practice standards, methodologies, interventions and techniques.
- Ensure the development of the safety culture on site to increase employee awareness to factors that may compromise safety through guidance and training.
- Conduct weekly HSE Specific Tool Box Talks to Staff.
- Monitor the delivery of Daily ‘Tool Box Talks’ training is carried out by Supervisors and Managers and maintain all supporting evidence as directed by the Q&S Manager.
- Carry out daily checks on Permits to Work (PTW) and report violations to the Q&S Manager.
Requirements
- Efficient and smooth running of the Site QHSE operation in coordination with Ecolog Quality and Safety Country Management to ensure the highest standards of support resulting in maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- To maintain the Safety Management System throughout the Mission as directed by SOP’s, contract and guidance from Q&S Manager
- Monitor compliance of the Safety Management System through routine site inspections
- To raise and assist the corrective action program through direct contact with all Ecolog personnel to ensure actions are implemented in a timely manner with an effective outcome.
