Job description / Role
For one of our clients, an international operating company, we are seeking a Production Database Supervisor to work in South East Iraq on a 6/3 rotation. This position is offered on a 12 month (renewable) contract basis.
Job objective:
- Ensure the implementation of production database management, and production information security policies.
- Ensure the daily running of the above issues could perform in an efficient and successful way.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate the production database system establishing and operating with database service company.
- Supervising the standardability and timeliness of source data input, adjusting, entering and filing the data.
- Maintenance and keep database operating well to complete data processing, filing and publishing.
- Confidentiality and operating security management of the Production database.
- Settlement of the Emergent case; provide individual data support to user.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Major in petroleum engineering /compute application/ software development.
- 8 years of working experience with 3years of Petroleum software or database related experience.
- Be familiar with the petroleum software and database development, running and maintenance management.
- Capability in high management skill, good English communication skill and proficient office software.
- Understanding the main points of oilfield production.
