Job description / Role
Job Description:
1. Perform skilled technical word in the administration of radiologic procedures for the sake of diagnosis and treatment of patients.
2. Set up equipment and material for Radiology Technology Lab, as per faculty members instructions. This includes the use of lead shielding and inspection of equipment in X-ray for participant safety.
3. Prepare and maintain documentation of lab inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
4. Arrange purchase orders for lab material and supplies, and lab budget.
5. Prepare and maintain documentation of all lab protocols and procedures, and safety rules.
6. Attend technical and lab safety training as deemed necessary
Requirements
Experience, Skills, and Educational Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technologist from a reputable college/ university. Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience after graduation. Work experience in a college/ university is preferred.
3. Licensed as a radiology technologist or eligible. Preferably nationally bond certified ASRT OR ARTT.
4.Familiarity with lab safety rules and standard operating procedures.
5. Ability to work and coordinate with faculty and other lab staff as member of a team.
6. Strong computer skills, English communication skills, and good time management skills
About the Company
AUIB is an American-style, nonprofit university located next to the Baghdad International Airport in Baghdad. This large-scale, multi-million dollar project is funded by Iraqi and U.S. donors, both public and private. The university opens for students on Jan. 17, 2021, with the College of Arts & Sciences, College of International Studies, and the College of Business. Eventually, there will be 10 colleges at the university, including a College of Medicine.
