Job description / Role
Quantity Surveyor PQS
Our client is a leading cost and project management consultancy based in Dublin. Due to continued expansion they require a quantity surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will report directly to one of the company directors.
The company is involved in the full spectrum of construction projects including residential, commercial and education and civil projects.
Typical duties:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports when instructed
- Contributing to achieve appropriate commercial result and report on contract profitability
- Assist with the preparation of estimates and cost plans and in the development of programmes for the delivery
- Contribute to the formulation of the monthly financial reports, both internal management accounts and external applications for payment.
- Measurement and pricing of bills of quantities
- Interim valuations
- Cost reporting.
- Preparation of tender and contract documents.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 yrs experience preferably with a PQS consultancy
- Relevant third level qualification
- Excellent computer skills
