Job description / Role
My client a large civil engineering and building contractor has an urgent requirements for a Work Winning Manager / Estimator to lead the bidding process form their Dublin office.
The successful candidate must be a very driven individual with an in depth understanding of the Irish construction market and introduce strategy to targeting successful bids. They will be required to demonstrate how they have introduced innovation into the tender process from an early stage and be able to keep pace with the fast changing sector where technology is growing increasingly important in delivering projects.
They must be able to build on existing relationships and target new clients to introduce growth to the business and foresee where the best value for time and expenditure will be spent in bidding projects.
A sound commercial background is a must and experience in a similar role in a company with a €100m+ annual turnover. Experience in winning in winning project that have been delivered in time and on budget with healthy profit margins. Ability to work with senior management to realise the vision of the business and contribute in a positive manner. Ambitions to rise into the senior ranks an mentor team members to follow and take added responsibilities.
