General Manager – KSA/Bahrain

Key Accountabilities:

Head and supervise the Operations, Sales and commercial aspects of the freight forwarding Business Unit.

- Responsible for Profit & Loss performance within the set budgets.
- Develop Commercial Strategy for the business unit, with key objectives related to profitability, market penetration, customer satisfaction, sales force efficiencies and effectiveness of new business, with product development.
- Represent and Negotiate contracts regionally and globally.
- Devising corporate goals, short term and long term budgets and developing business plans for the achievement of these goals
- Manage customer contractual commitments to ensure compliance.
- Maintaining liaison with clients and customers to meet their needs and requirements in the best possible manner.

Requirements

Desired Skills:

- Preferably a University Degree / MBA or professionally qualified in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in senior managerial positions in freight forwarding industry in KSA/Bahrain,
- Proven accomplishments Business Development and operations with Team Building ability.
- Distant ability to collaborate motivates, mobilize and optimize teams in a fast paced, highly dynamic and truly international business environment.
- Excellent analytical negotiation & inter-personal skills with effective communication and relationship management abilities.
