Head of Electrical Design

Job description / Role

Client is a leading Saudi based engineering consultancy who have an excellent reputation and a track record of working on a number of prestigious projects. They are currently looking to recruit a head of electrical design for their busy office in Jeddah.

The role will be take responsibility for all technical outputs produced by the electrical team as well as training and mentoring staff, staff recruitment, work division, project management, site supervision as well as liaison with other disciplines as well as clients and contractors.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in electrical engineering and should have at least 20 years experience of working in the electrical industry, preferably spent with engineering consultants.

Candidates should be familiar with all local and international design codes and standards as well as all relevant design software.
