Account Manager to be based in Amman, Jordan

On behalf of our client, a market leader in online hotel reservation service, we are looking to recruit a native Arabic speakin Account Manager for their new office in Amman, Jordan. As an Account Manger you will be responsible for hotel account management initially. You support company's acquisition of new hotels in a specific are in Jordan. You create quantity and quality reports on results and performance for information support to Company. You provide hotels the initial training on how to use the system and assist the Supply Manager Jordan on the improvement of hotel availability.

Your responsibilities also include:
- Visit the important hotels in Jordan
- Support strategy for hotel availability and supply within Jordan
- Promote brand name and its online reservation services to hotels
- Responsible for area coverage
- Inform hotels and advice on allotment, availability and supply
- Rate check and competitor checks
- Liaison person for hotels to contact when they have questions
- Providing hotels with information and advice by mail and email, including follow ups

Requirements

The successful candidate should have 2 years of experience in relevant account management function; be a fluent English & Arabic speaker with experience within e-travel and/or hotel/travel industry. You are currently living in Amman, Jordan and have good market experience.

You are a quick, resourceful, flexible and accurate candidate with positive attitude. You have a hotel school or university background and a valid driving license. This role requires extensive traveling, 50 % of the time.
