This Business Development Consultant role is part of the sales team based in our Dubai office that is responsible for selling to corporate organisations in the Middle East region. We are looking for Jordanians who are willing to relocate to Dubai for this exciting role.

The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for targeting new corporate organisations. This person should be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the business-to-business arena. The candidate should have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the client’s issues, and match and apply the benefits with EMI’s services. The candidate will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally, in different locations across the world so strong networking and organisation skills as well as an understanding of corporate purchasing dynamics. This role is office based, with some travel as required to meet clients across the territory.

Key responsibilities:
- Generate sales with new clients in your designated territory
- Identify key sponsors, influencers and decision makers at target companies and ensure that he/she understands their roles and objectives, and that they understand the benefits and applications of using data.
- Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan
- Research a strong prospect list
- Take ownership of personal sales targets
- Develop new clients so they know how to use their online service to ensure renewal contracts and opportunities to increase contract values

Revenue:
Manage the entire sales process involved with selling web-based planning tools and custom research solutions to new clients (e.g. prospecting, territory management, meeting scheduling, product demonstrations, multi-stakeholder business case development, objection handling, contract negotiation, etc.). Demonstrate effectiveness by consistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets.

Forecasting:
Use consultative sales skills and careful time management to develop robust monthly forecasts. Analyze quantitative (e.g. conversion rates, sales cycles, average price points, etc.) and qualitative (e.g. objections, competitive strategies, winning applications, etc.) market feedback to inform adjustments that ensure on, or above, target performance.

Development:
Take ownership of performance and personal development by attaching to goals, identifying obstacles and developing strategies to overcome them. Increase productivity by actively leveraging Euromonitor's training programs, supportive managers and diverse set of smart and interesting colleagues.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellence in current role, goal oriented and consistently at or over target
- 2yrs+ of sales experience
- Formal training and education in consultative sales, marketing and economics is an advantage Comfort interacting with executives within various levels and functions
- Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills
- Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics are preferable
- Willingness to travel (<25%)
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Experience with industrial and/or automotive companies

The candidate should be based in the UAE.
