Key roles and responsibilities
- Manage Operations Consulting Projects/Programmes
- Identify needed resources, assign responsibilities and develop timeframes to facilitate successful completion of activities and deliverables
- Identify and assess pros and cons of possible alternatives and select and develop the most appropriate solution for the client
- Manage the client relationship
- Understand, mitigate and manage risks and issues
- Deliver and present high-quality results on time to the client
- Manage the economics of the project
- Preserve an impeccable professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance of self and project team at all times
- Fosters an environment of continuous learning and development for self and others
- Play a key role in the development of business proposals, sales activities and client presentations
- Participates in business and/or industry groups to build knowledge of economic, industry, and market conditions
- Support practice development efforts through training delivery and sharing project lessons learned

The role may involve a significant amount of travel within the ME countries and will require the flexibility to meet peaks of work inherent in the cycle of a deal

Specialized Responsibilities

Programme Leadership
- Project/Programme/Portfolio Management
- Establish and operate PMOs to initiate, supervise, monitor and control the effective and efficient execution of projects/programs
- Develop Program Governance Model and define roles and responsibilities with a focus on PMO interaction within the Program
- Define and implement Project Management standards, methodologies, processes, templates and practices
- Provide Project Management guidance and training as required to support and expedite the program and projects success

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or any other relevant major
- 8-10 years proven experience with Operations Consulting projects with a leading or relevant boutique consulting firm or in a relevant Industry position
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage key stakeholders
- Proven ability to understand, mitigate and manage risk
- Ability to think creatively to solve client issues
- Programme management disciplines
- Ability to lead and direct small/medium and cross functional teams
- Excellent people management and development skills with a strong focus on team development
- Demonstrate business, finance and technology expertise
- Deep understanding of analytics, data and information
- Willingness to work across different industries
- Complete fluency in written and spoken business English
- Self-motivated and ambitious with ability to motivate others
- Leading and developing business with existing clients and generating new opportunities by utilising their network and expertise

Programme Leadership
- Previous experience in Project/Programme/Portfolio Management
- Ideally PMP or Prince II certified
