Job description / Role
1) Design and guide implementation of large scale software solution.
2) Provide technical analysis for overarching strategic architecture. Analyze various system architecture, design, interfaces and API documents to document system capabilities and identify hidden requirements.
3) Provide technical direction to web developers, system developers, and designers. This includes: Web services, SOA architecture and web service calls, and presentation layer architecture.
4) Ensure that all systems and software development adheres to existing client standards for programming, screen layout, user interface, configuration management, system interface, etc.
5) Participate in the planning and development of requirements, design (program and database), program specifications, interface requirements, and input/output file layouts, through the use of workshops, user meetings/discussions, and walkthroughs.
6) Develop and maintain System Design Document and Solution Architecture Document.
Requirements
1) 10+ years of experience working as a Systems Architect on a software or technology implementation project with a BS/BA (or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree).
2) Ability and willingness to monitor software under development meets architecture criteria
3) Experience in technical project management is desired
4) Experience in single page web applications is desired
5) Extensive experience in design and development of IT architecture.
6) Extensive experience in large scale design and development of distributed, stateless applications
7) Experience must include a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
8) Experience and knowledge of multi-tier and cross-platform architectures
9) Experience with architecting enterprise solutions based on REST web services
10) Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work
11) Strong communication skills
12) Proficiency in the following concepts:
a. ASP.Net MVC, Web API 2, Entity Framework.
b. Building Services using WCF.
c. MS SQL Server Database design and administration.
d. Using Design patterns and Dependency Injection.
e. Great knowledge in Javascript, CCS3 and CSS3 processors.
f. Good knowledge in web client side frameworks mainly Angular JS.
g. Mobile application development and Cross platform development.
h. Knowledge in NodeJs and Mongo DB is a plus.
i. Good knowledge in TDD.
