Job description / Role
- Carry out engineering design reviews of different systems from safety point of view.
- Coordinate various activities for implementation of process safety management program.
- Develop, review, implement and update safety, Environment and industrial Hygiene procedures and carry out safety studies / audits. Perform contractor safety evaluation for project and
- Maintenance jobs. Carry safety and Environment incident investigation.
- Evaluate, develop and conduct safety and environmental training program for all company employees and related contractors to minimize risk of accident, injury or damage equipment.
- Administer the company work permit and safety orientation program.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Chemical or Equivalent Engineering with 5 years experience in the field of Safety, health and Environment or Bachelor of Science with 10 years experience in the field of Safety, Health and Environment.
- Industrial Safety Certification, International certification in SHE preferred.
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Total Quality Management
- Chemical process as operation or process Engineer as minimum 2 years experience. -Conducting HAZOP study. - Develop and implement Safety, Health and Environment Procedure.-Hazard identification and Risk assessment techniques.-Work permit system and its training, implementation.-Investigation for industrial accidents, Incident.-Train the workman for safety requirement.
- Review and evaluate the safety program for contractors. -Hazardous waste Management, Fugitives monitoring , Noise monitoring techniques. -Develop and implement emergency preparedness.
- Excellent PC Skills including MS Office Package
- Good Command over Spoken & Written English
- Experience of Petrochemicals Industry in SAP environment (preferred)
