Lead Geotechnical and Foundation Specialist

Job description / Role

- Directs and provides technical guidance to the assigned project and/or discipline engineers in the management of engineering projects.
- Reviews staffing plans on all assignments.
- Participates in project planning during all stages of the execution of the task(s).
- Reviews project schedules and approves staffing estimates for engineering personnel for new proposals and jobs as assigned.
- Keeps the client informed on the status of the projects/tasks involving assigned personnel with respect to schedule, budget, task execution, work quality and client satisfaction, and contributes leadership, experience and expertise in the solution of difficult problems.
- Monitors the use of available engineering computer programs, technical advances and engineering management control techniques on the projects assigned.
- Formulates and recommends the approval of engineering plans and programs for assigned projects.

Requirements

- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in geotechnical Engineering design for major land Development projects with at least (10) years in site with a strong foundation design experience utilizing appropriate software for pile, raft mat and other design, dewatering, reinforced earth, soil ration/anchoring/stabilization, various retaining structure design, deep excavation loading and design analyses.
- Must be capable of interpreting field test results and have at least five (5) years of combined field sampling testing and laboratory testing experience.
- A Graduate from a western university.

The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Note: Candidates located in Saudi Arabia and having transferable iqama will be given priority.
