Engineering Manager

Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Engineering Manager to work in Saudi projects.

Responsibilities:
- Manages a single or multi-discipline team of Engineers and Designers in the execution of the full range of engineering works for medium to large EPC/EPCM projects of moderate complexity.
- Plans, coordinates, controls, manages and approves all aspects of the engineering work with respect to technical suitability, quality, productivity and budgets.

Requirements

- Degree or tertiary qualification in any recognized engineering discipline.
- Typically 18-30 years relevant experience in a professional technical capacity involving engineering, design, construction and commissioning.
- Must have worked at least 3 years in a Project Coordinator/ Project Engineer capacity leading a team of engineers and designers.
- Must possess a depth of expertise in own discipline and demonstrate a broad exposure to other disciplines
- Must possess broad experience in the execution of single and multi-discipline engineering work across the complete EPC lifecycle.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of industry practices, tools, codes and standards as applicable to the primary discipline and be familiar with practices, tools, codes and standards commonly used in some other disciplines.
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of upstream and downstream oil & gas and/or petrochemical units and operating principles. Other industry specific knowledge may be acceptable on a location-by-location basis.
- Formal post-graduate accreditations in leadership, project management strongly desired.
