Group CFO

Job description / Role

You will be the Group CFO, reporting to the Regional Managing Director of this global leader in downstream Oil & Gas. You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the financial and IT management activities.

You will manage and arrange funding requirements for the company and its subsidiaries. You will ensure the provision of efficient and effective financial support services and advice subsidiaries on new business ventures as and when required.

Your key responsibilities will include- leading the planning, budgeting and forecasting activities of the company, overseeing treasury functions, ensuring that financial information represent a true and fair picture, advising senior managers on matters relating to mergers, acquisitions, investments, risk management and business development.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting & preferably with an MBA
- Experience CFO level candidate with significant large downstream Oil & Gas, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) or large construction experience
- Qualified accountant
- Must have experience in large project finance exposure to PPP, BOOT or BOO etc.
- 20 years experience in the financial management field, at least 7 of which leading the Finance function of a large organisation preferably in a similar industry, with experience in Holding company and should have managed Finance function for Infrastructure projects and manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS), knowledge of Saudi Accounting Standards (SAS) is a plus.
