Job description / Role
Our client is looking for a Country Head of Logistics who will be responsible for the execution and profitable delivery of the Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution products within the Country in alignment with corporate strategy and goals & objectives.
The primary purposes of this role are:
- To design, develop and grow the Logistics product in a profitable and sustainable manner in the Country, in accordance with instructions from Regional Logistics. Takes the responsibility for P&L within the respective country.
- To execute the global product and network / warehouse management and procurement strategy (Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution respectively) at Country level
- To implement, execute, and ensure compliance to the global Logistics standards & guidelines at Country level
- Building logistics capabilities in the Country. Support M&A, and bring in the right quality of resources into the business to support growth and product demand.
- Logistics Product Management (Road & Rail and Warehousing & Distribution
- Road & Rail Network Management & Procurement as applicable to the country.
- Warehouse Management & Procurement.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict and performance management/ Graduate degree (bachelor level)
