Manager - Transaction Services - Kuwait

Our Kuwait TS team is a growing practice within our regional TS network and specialises in areas such as due diligence, valuations, financial decisions and analysis and deal structuring. Our clients include Kuwait's leading companies and financial institutions. We advise on deals with values ranging from KD 1 million to over KD50 million. Our people are well placed to advise at all stages of a deal from strategic inception through to due diligence to post deal. Our clients are engaging in Merger & Acquisitions transactions in many industry sectors, and in joining our team you can play a part in helping our clients to meet their business objectives.

The role will include:
- Writing financial due diligence and valuation reports for our corporate and private equity clients across a range of industry sectors
- Analysing financial and non-financial business information
- Identifying key value drivers and deal breakers (financial and non financial)
- Managing regional and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver an integrated Transactions Services product
- Sharing your experience and developing other team members through the deal process
- Understanding the processes in due diligence and valuation work including dealing with risk

You will have the opportunity to work on both corporate and private equity transactions that will be high profile, varied and challenging

Requirements

- Bachelor degree required, ideally with concentration in Finance or Accounting
- Wide range of client experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in financial due diligence/valuation within an advisory practice or experience that is complimentary to doing financial due diligence; i.e. experience of analysing financial information to identify key commercial drivers, risks and opportunities and reviewing financial projection
- Ability to identify key business issues
- Experience of managing and leading teams (coaching and mentoring, providing direction
- Effective business writing and Excel/modeling skills
- Analytical skills and commercial awareness; be able to provide insights to our clients to be able to provide valuable advice. Ability to identify key issues
- A flexible working style, with the ability to adapt to change and uncertainty
- Interpersonal skills (be able to quickly build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally)
- Passionate about client service
- Ability to deliver under pressure
- Strong bilingual (Arabic and English) communication skills (questioning and listening skills)
- Proactive with regard to self development

Desirable skills:
- Experience working across multiple industries
- Project manage medium to large assignments
- ACA/ICAS/CPA/CFA qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in Kuwait
