Resident Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading architecture, engineering, and design firm who has a presence working on iconic projects in all major Middle Eastern hubs. They are in need of a Resident Engineer who can immediately mobilize to start working on major projects from their office in Kuwait. This is a great opportunity for qualified civil engineers with at least 15 years experience.

To lead and direct the site supervision team to ensure smooth implementation of the project construction as per the design and contract documents. Liaise with clients representative, contractor, construction manager and the design manager.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- Masters Degree in Civil Engineering(preferred)
- Certification from Kuwait Engineering Society
- 15+ years experience in the construction industry with at least 5+ years in site supervision

FUNCTIONAL
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations
- Knowledge of inspection procedures to achieve construction quality control
- Knowledge of contract administration, time and cost control
- Knowledge of construction methods, specifications, codes
