Additive Feeding Operator

Job description / Role

The Warehouse Department at Kuwait Steel is seeking an Additive Feeding Operator to Initialing for developing the improvement projects in the melt shop additives area for material handling, material staking, and material preservation. Initiating/performing trials for new methods or new materials.

The Additive Feeding Operator will ensure compliance with ISO-9001 and 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements by reading the department’s procedures and documents. This includes focusing on material feeding activities of EAF, LF, day bins, and conveyor belts to optimize productivity and eliminate risk or accidents.

The Additive Feeding Operator will coordinate and focus on all additive activities to avoid material shortages optimize feeding & storage activity and eliminate the risk of accidents. In addition, He shall take a major role in newly developed activities and non-routine activities to give training/guidelines for his crew.

Requirements

Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Additive or Relevant

Education
- Secondary or Higher Secondary Education

Skills
- Supervising skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge about all Additives used in the plant
