Job description / Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Art Director at our Intermarkets Kuwait office. The incumbent will be working with an agency that has a holistic full-service approach, including relationship marketing, market research, and corporate identity services for their industry-leading clients. At Intermarkets, the Art Director should be a team player and have strong inter-personal skills.
Role Accountabilities:
- To come up with innovative and engaging concepts to cover all the client’s requirements on posters, flyers, brochures, press ads, outdoor and web banners.
- To be able to execute all the creative concepts into a final version.
- Make all the necessary adaptions.
- Develop high quality work and pitch creative ideas to clients.
- Provide detailed directions to Account Managers on new and existing briefs.
- Gain an understanding of the target audience and business that the advert is aimed at.
- Actively and resourcefully contribute to the brainstorming sessions
- To work closely with the Copywriter(s) in order to generate attractive ideas and concepts to fulfill client’s brief.
- Be confident enough to work with teams to obtain the most accurate ideas and most appropriate outcomes.
Requirements
- A graduate in Art , with an impressive portfolio
- Up to 5 years of working experience in an advertising agency of reputation
- Working knowledge of MS office (Word & Excel) and power-point presentations is a must
- Should be able to work on all Adobe features including illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
- Must possess animation skills for web banners and other forms of creative is an asset.
- Willingness to work occasionally outside of contracted hours.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) is essential and conversant in Arabic
- A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
