Main Purpose of Job:
To maximise revenue and profit against agreed targets through predominantly outbound account management and the development of both the existing customer base and new business.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Actively manage all customers within an agreed portfolio
- Develop and sustain a solid relationship between Rapid Access and its customers
- Identify new sales opportunities and secure the business, working closely with local sales personnel where applicable
- Ensure sales targets are met in accordance with Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve year-on-year revenue growth against budget
- Retain existing active customer base within agreed percentage
- Redevelop dormant accounts to agreed percentage
- Complete and update CRM system with accurate and relevant data
- Ensure customer service and customer expectations are exceeded
- Deal with all customer queries quickly, efficiently and cost effectively
Requirements
- A sales focussed individual who enjoys building a rapport with customers
- Minimum 3 years of Outdoor sales / customer relationship experience
- Able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills to ensure business is won on viable commercial terms
- Proactive individual with high standards of doing business
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognise and support the preferences and priorities of the organisation
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Results-orientated with the ability to balance other business considerations
- Ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels
