Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of our client in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cost management and quantity surveying aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all cost management and quantity surveying activities for construction projects in Kuwait.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess the progress and quality of work.
- Evaluate and negotiate variations and change orders with contractors and clients.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes and participate in dispute resolution processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and cost management.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following experience:

- Atleast 20 years minimum total experience
- Strong Post-contract experience is required
- Bachelors Degree and Chartered surveyor is a must.
- From international PMC industry background experiences is an advantage with mixed of construction industry would be ideal.
- Ideal to have a GCC car park airport project experience alternatively international complicated car park project experience is acceptable.
