Job description / Role
- Managing the sub-contracts (construction) purchasing process either from site or the execution of contracts
- Significant experience in the field of writing and managing large construction contracts
- Proven track record of claims negotiations
- Continuous cost control and reporting of cost of these sub-contracts to the Site Project Manager and the Offshore Senior Project Manager
- Leading a team of sub-contract purchasing agents/buyers
- Experienced in the use and negotiation of contract variations, construction contract change orders and the use and valuation of Provision Sums
Requirements
- Mandarin speaker is a must
- At least 3 year experience as Procurement Manager
- Middle East project experience is essential
- Strong communicator written and oral
- Strong Microsoft software skills, particularly Excel
