Copywriter - Corporate Communication - Kuwait

Alshaya's corporate communications team is expanding to reflect the company's dynamic growth. With opportunities for communicators at senior, manager and executive level, we are looking for talented individuals who want to play a role in shaping and building the reputation of one of the world's leading retail franchise operators. Internal and external communications roles are both on the agenda, and successful candidates will be part of a strategic team that understands what content and channels will build stakeholder and customer awareness, both about Alshaya and our brands.

You will be responsible for developing and producing targeted and highly effective editorial copy in English or Arabic to support the promotion of our brands and of Alshaya .

Specifically you will:
* Review and develop accurate and compelling editorial content intended for use in press releases, on websites, social media sites and other platforms as required.
* Gain a deep understanding of Alshaya's and/or the brands' core messages and target audiences
* Ensure that all copy supplied for review is edited as appropriate to reflect correct positioning, tone of voice and key messages
* Systematically track all editorial content support that is provided
* Deliver all output against agreed SLAs.

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years' experience creating original copy, translating and editing content
* Experience gained within the media, marketing agency or in-house communications department
* Strong communication skills, fluent in both English and Arabic
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team
* A college degree in language and translation; marketing and advertising background is a plus
* Organised and detail oriented, able to work successfully to deadlines
* Experience working in software localisation and testing
* Experience working in social media content creation and writing.
